Terms of Service

Who this is between

These terms are between you and Veristack, Inc.. If you reach this product through a school or district, that institution has a separate agreement with us covering student data; where the two disagree about student data, the institution’s agreement wins.

Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except where someone gained access through a failure on our side.

Acceptable use

Do not use this product to:

• Harass, endanger, deceive or exploit anyone, particularly a minor.
• Access records you have not been given access to, or attempt to.
• Post an opportunity that is not real, or misrepresent who you are.
• Scrape, resell or redistribute information about students.
• Interfere with the service’s operation or security.

We may suspend an account that does these things. Where a student is involved we will work through their school rather than acting unilaterally, except where waiting would put someone at risk.

Organizations posting opportunities

Organizations are reviewed before their listings reach students, and listings are reviewed for content separately from the organization itself. Approval is not an endorsement, and we may remove a listing or an organization at any time. Organizations receive no information about students — see Trust.

If you post an opportunity you are responsible for it being accurate, lawful, and safe for the young people it is offered to, including any background-check or supervision requirements that apply where you operate.

Content you add

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the product for you and your school, and nothing beyond that. We do not use it to train AI models and we do not license it to anyone.

Availability

We try to keep this running and will not pretend to guarantee it never breaks. We may change or discontinue features; where a change would materially reduce what a school relies on, we will tell the school before it happens.

Warranties and liability

The product is provided as-is, without warranties beyond those the law does not let us exclude. To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the product is limited to the amount paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can stop using the product at any time, and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
